“My son has an older Jaguar that was overheating so we took it to a local repair shop that said the entire motor needed replaced at an estimate of $8000. We were resigned to just selling the beautiful car as a shell to someone who would want to replace the engine. Several friends with mechanical know-how told us the vehicle did not exhibit signs of a blown engine so we took it to Michael’s auto repair for a second opinion. They performed diagnostics and called with a detailed explanation, with the bottom line being that the module that regulated the cooling fans was not working and the total repair costs would be less than $500, We were ecstatic as that increased the sale price by several thousand dollars! We were very impressed when we picked the vehicle up, as Michael took the time to explain everything they did and presented the defective part with the detailed invoice. It was very refreshing to find a family owned business that has been in the same location for 35 years – that in itself instills trust. We were very satisfied with this business and this will now be our only Auto Repair for all our vehicles.”

That’s the way it happened at Michael’s Repair Shop! Excellent customer reviews led me to Michael’s when the AC blew in my ’01 VOLVO C70! New in town, husband out of state AND my home AC went out the day before!!! Michael immediately assured me his team would everything in their power to fix my car. His sons Anthony & Thomas were personable, professional & competent technicians who worked on my car for 6 solid hours till all that was a must was repaired. Mike explained EVERYTHING in an easily understandable manner & showed me exact costs with no BS! He also documented things I would need done in the near future but his goal was to get me on my way with freezing AC in weather that had a heat index of 105! In this day & age, it is nearly impossible to find a family owned, honest, personable, technically proficient, reasonably priced Foreign & Domestic Automotive Repair Shop. This is exactly what I experienced at Michael’s in Daytona Beach, FL. You cannot put a price tag on peace of mind, when it comes to your automobile.
